What: Torn from the Flag - Oscar Fundraiser with Writer, Director, and Producer

You and a guest are cordially invited to the red carpet Oscar race fundraising event for the multi-award-winning, international documentary thriller Torn from the Flag, about the fall of communism and the significant global effects of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.

Hollywood legends Oscar winner Vilmos Zsigmond and multi-award winner László Kovács were the Executive Producers. László Kovács was also the Director of Photography. This powerful, bold, thought-provoking film features, in person or in archive footage, Henry Kissinger, Otto von Habsburg, Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev, George Vassiliou, Árpád Göncz and Imre Pozsgay.

In Los Angeles, Torn from the Flag* was screened in the "Milestones" section of the American Film Institute Festival along with Ingmar Bergman?s and Michelangelo Antonioni?s films. The critiques of Torn from the Flag are outstanding:
