It is an opportunity to practice speaking Hungarian, learning Hungarian songs and some history. It also provides a chance to meet local Hungarians and their friends.

There are opportunities there, that otherwise one doesn't have. I was so humbled, when I've met my fellow Hungarians, who seeing my walking difficulties came, introduced themselves, shook hands and chatted with me.The Hungarianness is a wonderful thing and comes through the organization. Thanks, Anne.

Hungarian speakers should join to get together with other Hungarian speakers to worship and share fellowship. For those of us who aspire to learn Hungarian, this is a wonderful group of people who are very encouraging.

It is very nice to meet genuinely kind and friendly people who share your passion for learning about other`s culture and languages. The people I meet every time I attend an event are terribly nice and fun to talk to. There is always a good athmosphere when the Hungarians and their friends get together!

  • The Atlanta Hungarian Meetup Group

The Atlanta Hungarian Meetup Group offers the opportunity for Hungarians to share friendships, their culture, interests, and fellowship. We've always been warmly welcomed and the guests to be very friendly and hospitable. There also plenty of that great Hungarien food, which is second to none in my opinion.

A great way to hear the language you may have grown up with and better understand the Hungarian culture by meeting first generation Hungarians. Some of us are third generation and much of the culture and language is gone.

  •  Kedves, normális embereket ismertem meg. Otthon ez furcsa lenne, itt szerencsére normális.

  •  Need to plan a trip somewhere, or maybe join another group on a trip. much better opportunity to get to know each other then a short meeting. I suggest www.adventureclub.com for some of their events. A fun and reasonably priced event is the beach trip to Destin, FL. for Memorial Day weekend. Even if everyone can't make it, it is still a great trip. Check out the info on the website. I've done this for 4 years in a row, and it's always well worth it.
